Johann was known as Fred. He was a laborer in Minnesota according to his church marriage record. Antonia, Prussia, listed as his birthplace, is now Opole, Poland, located on the Odor River fairly close to Czechoslovakia (not correct as I have his birth place Kreis Kolmar). His burial marker has his name as Fredrick "Johnkee".
