Visitation took place Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003 at Chris Slater Funeral Home, Prescott, where the funeral was held at noon in the chapel. Father Claude Delorme officiated. A committal service followed at 1 pm at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.

The pallbearers were Robert S. Bell, Benjamin Brunette, Michael Brunette, Ralph Dukelow, Charlie Kerr and Robin Fowler.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or CHEO.

Grandson Benjamin Brunette read the eulogy on behalf of the grandchildren; Pastor David Bowbeer (a nephew) spoke on behalf of the family. The theme was "Ray will live on in the hearts of many people."
