Funeral services for Bertha Rosena Oelke, Blue Earth, will be held this af ternoon, Tuesday, at the Salem Evangelical United Brethren church at 2 p. m. Rev. E. M. Schendel will officiate with interment in Riverside cemetery .
Mrs. Oelke suffered a stroke last Wednesday and passed away at the Blue Ea rth Community hospital at 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
She was born the daughter of William J. and Henrietta Paschke, November 2 6, 1872. She was a lifelong resident of Faribault county.
Bertha Paschke and Gustav A. Oelke were united in marriage Feb. 12, 189 1. Six children were born to the union. They are Samuel, Hokah; Mrs. Clara Juliar and Mrs. Clarence (Nora) Hubner, both of North Mankato; Allen a nd Maynard, both of Blue Earth; and Marlin of Menahaga. They all survive.
Mrs. Oelke was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away May 13, 1 917.
In addition to her children she is also survived by two brothers, Rudol ph and Herman, both of Blue Earth, and by 33 grandchildren and 18 great gr andchildren.
She was a lifelong member of the Evangelical and United Brethren church, beginning with the Immanuel church east of Blue Earth and in later years transferring her affiliation to the Salem E. U. B. church here.
