Edward Warren During the first three years of their marriage, the couple lived in Liskinfere Par. Co. Wexford, where their first three children were born and they show on baptismal records.

The Tithe Applotment book for 1824 shows the family moved north and were living at this time in Kellystown, Killecky Par., Co., Wicklow. Two years later, 1826, they were living in Killcoreen Par., Co., Wicklow. From 1827 on through 1829 they lived in Preban Par. The vestry minutes for Preban Par. show he served as Church Warden and he signed his name (see signature).

In 1828, while living in Ballinglin, Preban Par., their daughter Patience was baptized. His wife, Sarah Kinch, died when Patience was an infant. He was married a second time in 1833 in Agbold Par. to Isabella Barker. In 1834 Edward returned to Ballyhenry, Killesky Par. His daughter Margaret Warren was married in 18138 in Killesky Par. to Benjamin Doxey Barker, a brother of wife Isabella.

One might wonder why Edward made so many moves. At this time, property was owned by large landholders, many of whom granted short leases and auctioned them when they fell due for renewal. To make it more difficult, nobody was permitted to bid twice for certain property, which meant that tenants who wanted to make sure of keeping their homes had to bid far more than the land was worth. Altough tenants had to work hard and be thrifty, their work did not promise them property.

In 1852 property valuations by Griffith show he possessed land on both Cos., Wexford and Wicklow as follows: Ballyhenry and Kellystown in Killesky Par., Co., Wicklow; Moneycross, Clough, and Churchtown in Leskinfere Par., Co., Wexford.

Some of his children remained another generation at these locations. Others migrated to Canada, USA, England, Australia, and New Zealand.

PREBAN, or PREBAWN, a parish, in the barony of BALLINACOR, county of WICKLOW, and province of LEINSTER,4 miles (N. W.) from Tinahely, on the road to Rathdrum; containing 1095 inhabitants. This parish, which is called also Braban, and is situated on the south-eastern bank of the small river Derry , or Darragh, comprises 2089 statute acres, as applotted under the tithe act: the land is good, and the system of agriculture improving.

Sarah Kinch was born circa 1795, at Prob. Gorey, Co. Wexford. She was the daughter of Henry Kinch.

Isabella Barker Isabella Copperthwaite, Isabella's grandmother(I made father's side, but could be Mothers).
Isabella Barker was born in 1808, at Agbold Parish, Co. Wicklow. She was the daughter of Joseph Barker and Mary Mooney.
Isabella Barker married Edward Warren, son of John Warren and Margaret Henstock, on 28 January 1833, at Agbold Par., Co. Wicklow.
Isabella Barker died in 1864.
