My husband, father, grandfather and uncle has left this world to be with his creator. Born December 28, 1915 in Rainy River, Ontario to Ernest and Helene Boissoneault. On May 24, 1939 Roy married his wife Ruth Langstaff. They celebrated their sixty-third anniversary in May, 2002. They have two children , Sharon Roberts (Charles) and Donald (Patricia). He was able to enjoy his six grandchildren grow up to becom young adults -Tonya, Tiffiany, Roy, David, Joseph, Paul. Roy had three Brothers, Reg (deceased), Fernand (deceased) and Jerry of Montreal; two sisters, Lorette of Calgary, Yvette (decesed). Many nieces and nephews encumber this family. Roy's career with Calgary Power started as a plant operator while living in Seebe and Banff. In 1952 he was transferred to Calgary as Superintendent at the Bearspaw Plant up to his retirement with Transalta Utilities. Upon his retirement he travelled to Europe, U.S.A, Caribbean and Isreal. He enjoyed Playing the paino and organ, gardening and fixing almost everthing that did not work. His absence from our lives will leave an unfillable void, the kindness and caring for his family unforgettable. May your Creator provide everlasting peace and solitude until we are able to be together again. Our love.

In late 1998, Gary had a triple bypass surgery, and was just getting back to work on Mar. 4, 1999. I found this out from a letter his Mother wrote me in April of 1999.

Irene also wrote: Gary was close to Gramp George Moon and Grandma Ruth. Used to play with their pots and pans as a youngster and was given lots of love and attention, as there were few grandchildren.
He is a lot like his father, Albert. Likes to laugh and joke about. He remembers visiting Rainy River in 1954.

Is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, opa, uncle, son and brothesr. Born January 28, 1931 in Saskatchewan, Oran began his journey s leading a very full life. He enlisted in the Canadian Army at the age of 17 and went to serve his country in the Korean War. Upon his return he met the love of his life Dorine (nee Silen). They married in 1954 and had 3 beautiful children. As an entrepreneur he started Car Reconditioning with his wife by his side. In 1978 they moved to Longlac, ON where they took over the L Oree Des Bois Motel. It was there where Kootsie was in his element. Surrounded by nature, he loved to spend his mornings fishing and days in the shop. He and Dorine also loved to travel often taking along anyone in the family with a suitcase packed. He was a wonderful man who stressed the importance of family and cherished all the children. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dorine, father Henry, brother Wyman and Great Granddaughter Mackenzie. Survived by mother Beatrice, children Karen, Kayne and Kurt, brother Melvin, sisters Evelyn and Loreen, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Lutheran Church (2820 Donald St. E.) Monday, February 11 at 1:00 p.m.

Evelyn Beatrice Croswell married Henry Herman Krienke, son of Edward Arthur Krienke and Emma Augusta Sprenger, before 1929, at, . Met Henry and the Krienke family when she at 15 was working as a waitress in Tisdale. From then on spent more time with the Krienke's than with her family.

Moved to Fort Frances with the Krienke's in the early 30's.¹

     Mrs. Beatrice Ropac aged 96 years old peacefully passed away with family by her side July 2nd, 2008 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
     Born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan July 25th, 1911. She married Henry Krienke and during the depression moved to Fort Frances and finally settled in Thunder Bay.
     Predeceased by Henry in 1953, she later married Steve Ropac in 1958. Her interests were her family, gardening, grandchildren and the outdoors. She was predeceased by Steve and two of her sons Wyman & Oran Krienke and is survived by Loreen Turner, Evelyn Krienke (Ted), Mel (Carol) Krienke, grandchildren Nona Cashaback, Chris Krienke, Kurt & Kayne Krienke, Karen (John) Vacek, Diane (Danny) Zimba, Bret Turner, Christine Johnson, Bruce Gillis, Gloria (Bill) Kuznak, Rob Krienke, Carol Dee (James) Enders and great grandchildren.
     We would also like to extend our appreciation to the Thunder Bay Health Sciences Centre and staff plus the new friends she made there.
     Cremation has taken place and a service to remember and celebrate her life for family and friends will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday July 9th at the Travelodge Hotel (Airlane) south entrance with Rev. Jann Sampson officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetry at 3:00 pm Wednesday July 9th.
     If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.³

On Monday June 26, at her home on South Main street, Kemptville, Jennie Hutcheson, wife of Shanley Langstaff, passed on to the great beyond.
She was a comparatively young woman being but thirty-seven years and eight months of age. Her first home was Elizabethtown, near Brockville, but later, when married to Mr. Shanley Langstaff, she, with her husband, moved to Garreton, from which place they came to Kemptville a little over two years ago. Besides the many sympathyzing friends she leaves her mother, Mrs. Hutcheson of Brockville, who has been in attendance for some time, her husband and a family of six small children, Harry, Lorne, Herbie, Darlo and Ernest, the latter a baby of three months. There is also one brother, a farmer in North Augusta.
The funeral left her late home this morning at 9:30 and proceeded to Garreton where service was held in St. Andrew's Church, and interment was made in the cemetery belonging to the church.^2,3

Joseph E. Langstaff

Joseph E. Langstaff of 237 Stevens street, a well known resident of this city, died suddenly Saturday at his summer home in Willow Dale road, Tyngsboro. Mr. Langstaff had been engaged in the wholesale paper business in this city for more than 25 years. He was a member of the First United Baptist church, Pentucket Lodge, A. F. & A. M., and the Lowell Sportsman's club. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Annie M. Langstaff; a sister, Mrs. Jack Warren of North Agusta, Canada; two brothers, Stanley Langstaff of Kemptville, Ont, and Stanage Langstaff of Prescott, Canada; also several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to his home by Funeral Director Hiram C. Brown.

The grave stone does not say Isabella, but Isabell E. and the date is May 31, 1874, aged 2 months and 2 days. The time and age fit in exactly with what Ruth Doland has told me.
