John Robson Edge I haven't been able to find a good source of Edge information in Grey County Ontario but an excellent contact in Salt Lake City, Utah. Letitia Edge's family were from the Rathdrum area of County Wicklow, Ireland.
I am about as far away as I can be and still be in Canada, on Vancouver Island off the coast of B.C.  Many of the Edge's and related families came to B.C.

I have a good source for Irish information in Arklow, County Wicklow if it will help, but you sound as if you are pretty close already.
Letitia's great uncle John Edge, of Clanbrook, Queens Co., Ireland purchased large tracks of land in Bentinck Twp. and Glenelg Twp., in Grey Co, Ontario for settlement by poor Irish farmers and Letitia's father John Edge was his uncles agent in Canada.

Karen Edge in Utah is a descendent of John Hobson Edge and Ann Blake who are Letitia's parents and would love to hear from you.  Karen can take the Edge family back to the 1600's in Ireland and England prior to that.  I know she is concentrating on this family now.  Karen is a great girl and really knowledgeable.

1861 census, Joseph and his brother John and Mary Jane are here and of the correct age. They are living with Sarah their mother and with two Breadners, James and Joseph. She was Free Church of Scotland and born in U.C.²

Marthy J., age 55 i.e. born 1846 in rural Ontario. Living with sons Robert J and Jacob and daughter Margaret, widow. Margaret died in 1930. I found this in a letter from Letisha to Viola written in 1931 (see documents).

Martha Jane McAffee seems to have also been called Margaret. The Martha Jane comes from the 1871 census (Roll # C-9953, page 53, line 17) and the Margaret comes from the marriage registration of her son Jacob (see Jacob). It is interesting to note the 1901 census has her living with her son Robert John and the name is Martha J. She is listed as a widow as well. On the 1901 census she was listed as being 55 years old (born 1846, the 1871 census has her at 26, i.e. born 1845).¹ She was the daughter of Thomas McAfee and Nancy Ann Stewart. Martha Jane McAfee immigrated in 1849 to From 1901 census, , , Harding Collection.²
Martha Jane McAfee married Robert Neely, son of John Neely and Margaret Arbuckle, in 1867.
As of 1867,her married name was Neely.³

John McAfee emigrated between 1835 and 1836 to

Liza Lynn left Ireland with her parents at age of nine, they were enroute to West Indies where her uncles owned plantations and who were in good financial circumstances.

Liza's father died of fever on the boat and she and her mother then returned home to Ireland. They came to Canada some time later and lived with her mother's twin sister would was married to Mr.Coulson.
